Man B Que is an organization of gentlemen for whom grilling is an all-encompassing passion. It formed on Chicago’s North Side in 2005 by seven friends with a love of great food, great beer, and the sound of a sizzling grill. It now includes over 400 members, who fire up the grill everywhere from the surrounding suburbs to Japan and everywhere in between.

At every monthly event, each member’s contribution helps Man B Que build an amazing library of original recipes, as well as new interpretations of the classics. Nothing is off-limits, from a marinated flank steak to Atlantic salmon.

Man B Que has room for everyone, from master grillers to backyard novices. Anyone who shows up is guaranteed an evening of amazing food and great times, regardless of prior grilling experience or skill level. There’s room for everyone, provided they’re in possession of a Y chromosome. As the name suggests, Man B Ques are currently male-only. We hope this comes across as charming and retro, not sexist. Despair not, fairer sex, our new Man B Que Events are open to YOU. Finally a place for those wonderful ladies that think grills are sexy and who would throw a roundhouse at anyone who attempts to serve them a cosmopolitan.
