The Vault Bar and Grill
We’re coming to John Scholl‘s hometown of Danvers to take over the local bar’s kitchen from 5-7pm. We’ll be cooking dishes from our newest cookbook, EAT STREET!
Asian Scotch Eggs
Sous vide egg wrapped in five-spice pork and breaded with wasabi pea panko then deep fried to a golden brown. Served with hoisin mayo. This is what the fancy people call fusion. We call it damn good bar food.
Legit Chicago-Style Hot Dogs
A selection of authentic Chicago dogs assembled by an author with a degree from Hot Dog University. Yes, that is a real school. Pick one or go for the two-dog special.
Dragged Through the Garden
Yellow mustard, chopped white onions, neon green relish, dill pickle spear, tomato slices, pickled sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt.
Chili Cheddar Dog
Homemade chili, beer cheese, onions.
The ManBQue Melt
An all-beef patty melt done the ManBQue way—topped with bacon, caramelized onions, and cheddar. Smothered with Sriracha mayo and served on marble rye.
All dishes served with hand cut fries and garlic aioli.
We’ll have books on hand for sale and we’ll be signing them from 7-8p.
