NYE is coming up and you’re invited to a party; Always bring beer, GOOD beer, and always bring a dish that’s going to impress the hell out of everyone. Make something so cool that nobody will judge you when midnight rolls around and your either peeing in the laundry closet or puking under the futon in the guest bedroom while sobbing and talking about how your ex left you.


Make and take these Red Bull BBQ Sliders to your NYE party. People will love you and carry you on their shoulders. Unfortunately, your ex still hates you. It doesn’t matter, these sliders rule.

Red Bull BBQ Sliders

Red Bull Slaw:

3 Tablespoons mayonnaise

2 Tablespoons Red Bull Yellow Edition

2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

1/2 teaspoon celery seeds

3 cups prepared bagged cabbage and carrot classic coleslaw

BBQ Turkey Sliders:

1 Tablespoon olive oil

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce

1/4 cup ketchup

1/2 cup Red Bull Yellow Edition

1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

3 cups shredded grilled or smoked chicken

12 slider buns or soft dinner rolls

In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Red Bull Yellow Edition, cider vinegar, and celery seeds.  Toss with coleslaw.  Cover and refrigerate while preparing the sliders.

Throw 3 small or medium chicken breasts on the grill or in the smoker. Grill or smoke until cooked throughly. Set aside.

Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in the cranberry sauce, ketchup, Red Bull Yellow Edition, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire, chili powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes. Shred cooked chicken. Add chicken and stir to coat. Continue stirring until chicken is warm.

To serve, spoon chicken onto the bottom half of the buns, top with slaw, and finish with the top half of the bun.

Makes 12 sliders.
